My stay at Tru By Hilton was excellent. The staff were accommodating, ensuring I had a ground floor room for my elderly dog, which made our stay comfortable. The breakfast options were delightful, and the quiet hours policy helped maintain a peaceful environment. Overall, everything was well-organized and guest-focused, making it my new favorite pet-friendly location in Grand Rapids.

The alarm clocks in adjacent rooms were disruptive.

The lemon hand soap had a great fresh clean scent.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the size of the room. it felt cramped compared to the photos. Also, I was frustrated to find there was no microwave available, which I had anticipated for heating snacks. Additionally, the location is not the best for dining or entertainment options unless you're willing to drive, making it somewhat inconvenient.

Our one-night getaway for a couple was delightful! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cozy lobby buzzed with energy. We loved the ample kitchen amenities for snacks. Pro tip, arrive early for breakfast to beat the rush on popular items!

The room was fantastic without any carpets which I loved, and the bed was super comfy for a great night's sleep. I also enjoyed relaxing by the indoor pool and soaking up some sun on the terrace. The bathroom could've used a bit more space around the shower, but everything else was spot on! 🏊‍♂️

Breakfast options included tasty bagels, eggs, and yogurt, but I noticed some items running low during peak breakfast hours. On the downside, I did face some inconveniences. I found the room a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, and there was no microwave. The location isn't ideal for dining or entertainment unless you drive. Still, I enjoyed my stay overall, especially the focus on cleanliness and friendly service.
